Youthisnotatimeoflife,itisastateofminditisnotrosycheeks,redlipsandsuppleknees,itisamatteroftheemotions:itisthefreshnessitisthefreshnessofthedeepspringsoflife.
Youthmeansatemperamentalpredominanceofcourageovertimidityoftheappetite,foradventureovertheloveofease.Thisoftenexistsinamanof60morethanaboyof20.Nobodygrowsoldmerelybyanumberofyears.Wegrowoldbydesertingourideals.
Yearswrinkletheskin,buttogiveupenthusiasmwrinklesthesoul.Worry,fear,self–distrustbowstheheartandturnsthespiritbacktodust.
Whether60of16,thereisineveryhumanbeingsheartthelureofwonders,theunfailingchildlikeappetiteofwhatsnextandthejoyofthegameofliving.Inthecenterofyourheartandmyhearttheresawirelessstation:solongasitreceivesmessagesofbeauty,hope,cheer,courageandpowerfrommenandfromtheinfinite,solongasyouareyoung.
