Ladies and Gentlemen，Good afternoon！I＇m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”。 I hope you will like it，and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.
First I want to ask you some questions：
1、 Do you know what is youth？
2、 How do you master your youth？
Youth
Youth is not a time of life，it is a state of mind；it is not rosy cheeks，red lips and supple knees，it is a matter of the emotions：it is the freshne；it is the freshneof the deep springs of life .
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite，for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years wrinkle the skin，but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry，fear，self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .
Whether 60 of 16，there is in every human being＇s heart the lure of wonders，the unfailing childlike appetite of what＇s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there＇s a wirelestation：so long as it receives messages of beauty，hope，cheer，courage and power from men and from the infinite，so long as you are young .
When the aerials are down，and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism，then you are grown old，even at 20，but as long as your aerials are up，to catch waves of optimism，there is hope you may die young at 80.

大家好！
首先我感谢同事一直以来对我的信任和支持，同时给我这个机会来参加本次教师岗位竞聘的演讲。我不会用漂亮的诗句来讴歌我的职业, 我也不会用深邃的思想来写就个人的价值。因为我就是一名普普通通的幼儿教师，一名热爱孩子，热爱岗位的幼儿教师。 在我通过了育婴师教育资格的培训，目前大专在读，教师资格考试顺利通过。回首过去的日子，我一直担任着班的生活英语老师，今天我竞聘的岗位是生活英语组组长。我之所以竞聘这个岗位，是因为我具有以下的几个优势：
一、我有一颗热爱教育事业的心：我明白教师的苦与累、平凡与无私。我们有的只是生活的忙碌，肩头沉甸甸的责任。
但我无悔于自己的选择！我深深爱着教师这一行，用我的汗水，用我的智慧，用我这颗跳动的火热的心！面对着一群天真可爱的孩子，我揣摩着、尝试着，与他们真诚的交流着，让我们用爱托起明天的太阳。
二、我有较为扎实的实践知识：自参加工作以来，我始终不忘学习，勤钻研，善思考，多研究，重反思，敢挑战，不断地丰富自己、提高自己。由此坚信我对生活英语组组长的教学工作是完全能够胜任的。
三、我有较强的工作能力：并在实践中也积累一些经验。我深知生活英语组组长教育工作在幼儿成长历程中的地位和作用，同时在实践中也悟出一些方法和策略。也深知作为生活英语组组长要“一切为了孩子，为了孩子的一切”这样的准则。我踏实工作，关爱幼儿的每一天，看到孩子们每天高高兴兴的来幼儿园、又高高兴兴的离开幼儿园是我最大的乐趣，在工作中我关心每一位幼儿的身体状况及生活自理能力，如：孩子生病了，我会及时进行电话询问家长孩子的身体情况，提高我们班级幼儿出勤率。
四、我具有奉献精神：如只要园内有事，我能自觉地留下来加班，同事有事或有困难时我也能及时顶上，并有质量地完成各项工作任务。服从大局，服从领导的安排。
如果我能够通过竞争上岗，我打算从以下几个方面改进自己的教学工作，提高自己的教学水平。
1、更加科学规范地做好日常班级管理工作根据实际情况，在适合幼儿年龄特点的前提下，应认真落实各项教学常规工作及做好保教工作，解决家长的`后顾之优。
2、根据自身的教学长处将足健及科学认读落实到幼儿的各项活动中，设计并开展丰富的一系列实践活动，突显震幼园本课程特色。
3、加强个人修养，练好基本功。加强自己的工作能力和工作艺术，顾全大局，维护幼儿园良好形象，努力调动孩子们主动发展，努力提高自己的业务能力。
六、如果我能够通过竞争上岗，我会做到：
1、负责本级部各项工作的组织和实施。协调好班组之间的关系，团结全组成员努力开展保教工作。
2、以身作则，在全组树立正气，独立有创意的开展班组工作。
3、及时与本组各班教师保育员交流沟通，发现需求和问题及时向园领导反映，积极提出研究建议。
4、在工作需要时协调组内人员的工作安排及同事关系，协助园长做好组内人员的思想工作，确保教育教学工作的顺利完成。
5、组织本组及各班积极主动利用社区、家庭教育资源，做好家园一致教育。
6、及时准确下达园务精神，按时完成幼儿园的各项工作。 领导、老师们，我有信心、有决心做好苗班班主任及小班配班的教育工作，我将用左肩担着爱我的孩子，用我的右肩担着我爱的幼儿园，执着坚韧地挑起我深爱的老师这一行，为震幼的明天献出自己的一点光和热。

I am Qu Jierui. I’m from Class Two Grade Six. It’s my pleasuer to stand here to talk about English with you.
I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.
When I was five，my mother sent me to a kindergarten. At there，I played games and sang English songs with other children . Then I discovered the beauty of the language，and began my colorful dream in the English world.
Everyday，I read English following the tapes. Sometimes，I watch English cartoons. At recess，I often go to English corner to talking with teachers and classmates，I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English.
I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit
Washington Monument，because the president Washington is my idol. Of course，I want to go to London too，because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university，I will be very happy. I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I＇ll introduce China to them，such as the Great Wall，the Forbidden City and my hometown—Zouping
As everyone knows，Rome was not built in a day. I believe that if I study hard，I can speak English very well in the future. And I am sure that I will realize my dream one day！

You were successful when you finished a complicated task very well and you were praised. When married，maybe a happy marriage and a happy family meant success for you. When your child grew up，you hoped he or she attend a famous university or go abroad to study or work，at that time you considered that was your success. When you were old enough and couldn＇t work at all，success was a feeling that your children and grandchildren came to see you from a long distance. Actually，success always accompanied you in your growth.
However，we have to admit that you can＇t be successful all the time. We always meet many difficulties on the way to success. The more difficult it is，the much happier we are when we succeed.
